There are some days whe...@Amanda, you're right. There are some days when I just can't stop writing, and there are days when I'm stuck and can't seem to write a word. I like what you said about making the most of the good days and not worrying about the bad ones. It avoids the guilt. :-) Thanks for stopping by and sharing.Geraldinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14443234161051483653noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7361808078574394559.post-45523584876830272922011-10-13T05:44:17.903-07:002011-10-13T05:44:17.903-07:00I'm a bit like you - I try to write every day ...I'm a bit like you - I try to write every day but accept that there are some days when it flies and other days when it's like trudging through treacle. I make the most of the good days now and don't worry about the bad ones - I know I can't change them!Amanda Eganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03107950894507528876noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7361808078574394559.post-73179635147671020642011-10-07T15:28:36.547-07:002011-10-07T15:28:36.547-07:00@Dan, that always happens to me. My mind never see...@Dan, that always happens to me. My mind never seems to shut off which is why I keep a notebook beside me. If I don't write it down, I will forget about it the next day. I also write at night when everyone is sleeping--no distraction. Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend!Geraldinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14443234161051483653noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7361808078574394559.post-42306872602192773862011-10-07T02:33:45.399-07:002011-10-07T02:33:45.399-07:00My best ideas come to me before I sleep, which suc...My best ideas come to me before I sleep, which sucks because I either have to get up and make a note, or hope I remember in the AM. I write action/adventure coz I'm an action/adventure sort of guy. Which means, I don't like to sit around and write. For me, the best time to write is after 8pm when the rest of the family is watching television.

DanAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7361808078574394559.post-51181956511836035192011-10-05T14:58:39.091-07:002011-10-05T14:58:39.091-07:00@Shilpa, routines and schedules feel like a chore ...@Shilpa, routines and schedules feel like a chore to me which is why I prefer flexibility. Just like you, I make it a point to write daily. When I take a break from writing my novels, I either do research, prepare my summary or read. Thanks for sharing!Geraldinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14443234161051483653noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7361808078574394559.post-51270576115270615722011-10-05T09:52:46.036-07:002011-10-05T09:52:46.036-07:00I tried setting a routine but I failed. And when I am discouraged, it is near impossible to get me to the writing pad. However, since that attitude got me very long breaks, I made a conscious effort to write almost every day - my blog. That keeps me in touch whether I write fiction or not!Shilpa Mudigantihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11244220263379263042noreply@blogger.com
